Breaking Ground for Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington’s Next Venture
Tacoma is thrilled to be a part of another incredible opportunity for our community!
Last week, our president Mike Gilles, on behalf of all of us at Tacoma, attended the groundbreaking ceremony the latest Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington project. Garafraxa Village will be a 32-unit, 3-building stacked townhouse, offering local families a way into homeownership amidst our challenging housing environment. The groundbreaking ceremony was pivotal moment in a plan that has been in the works for along time.
Our team member Ryan Jacklin is the structural engineer for the project, and JD Hill has provided code consulting help for the BCIN designer on the project. Our whole team is looking forward to the opportunity to join in on the construction, likely to commence this spring.
We are grateful for this opportunity – it is another example of our dedication to not only the services we provide, but also to our purpose and values, to care for our communities.
